Summary

Off-register in laminate flooring refers to misalignment between the printed decorative image and the surface texture pressed into the plank. Modern laminate products often use emboss-in-register technology to align wood-grain texture with the printed décor. When this alignment shifts, the texture does not match the visual image, creating an unnatural or disconnected appearance.
