Summary

Flatness in laminate flooring refers to the dimensional curvature of an individual plank relative to a true plane prior to installation. Deviation may occur across the width or along the length and may present as concave (cupped) or convex (bowed). Flatness is expressed as a percentage of plank width (fw) or plank length (fl).
