Velcro Roller
A device used to show an indication of fuzzing propensity of a loop pile carpet. The apparatus is normally rolled 10 times backward and forward (20 total). Rating is from 1 (severe fuzzing) to 5 (little to no fuzzing). The test is used by some testing labs for complaints of filament slippage and fuzzing complaints. There are no current industry standards related to the ratings obtained during this test. Manufacturers standards apply.
