What you need to know

Filtration soil appears as linear dark areas along walls, step edges, furniture skirting, under draperies, around floor registers, and under doors between rooms. Filter soil can also be visible in open areas, directly above subfloor joints, and in areas where the installer’s knee-kicker pins have penetrated the secondary backing of the carpet.
