Started in the flooring business in 1977 with CarpetLand USA.  I managed a store in Decatur IL for 5 years.

Moved to St Louis MO work for a small commercial flooring contractor for 8 years.

Became a rep for Galaxy Commercial carpet, they were sold and the commercial division closed.

Became a rep for Designweave Commercial carpet which merged with Shaw Industries.

Started The Spot Man in 2000.  The initial focus was stain/spot removal with a “Spot’s Gone or It’s Free” guarantee.  (only had 2 stains in 15 year I couldn’t remove) Added Color Blending and Bleach Spot Dying.  Added full room carpet and hard surface cleaning.  Added 6 employees, 2 truck mounts, in-shop area rug cleaning, low moisture encapsulating carpet cleaning.

Sold The Spot Man in 2015 and moved to South West Indiana.  Became an IICRC certified Senior Carpet Inspector.

I do a lot of maintenance consulting and training.

Every Expert Witness case I have been involved with has resolved in my clients favor.
