About Me
With nearly 30 years of experience in the flooring installation industry as both an owner and hands-on installer, I bring a unique level of knowledge and experience to home and flooring inspections. My background has focused heavily on kitchen and bathroom remodeling, giving me extensive, real-world experience with floor coverings, installation methods, subfloor conditions, moisture concerns, and the many problems that can develop when flooring is improperly installed.
I decided to put that experience to work as a home inspector and flooring inspector, helping homeowners, buyers, sellers, contractors, and real estate professionals better understand the condition of a property and identify potential problems.
My extensive knowledge of flooring materials and installation practices allows me to look beyond what is simply visible on the surface. When I find a flooring issue, I can often identify why the problem is occurring, not just point out that something is wrong. Whether it is an installation defect, improper preparation, moisture-related issue, material failure, or another underlying concern, my experience helps me pinpoint the likely cause and provide a clear explanation of what I find.
Flooring is one of the most important components of a home, and problems can be expensive to correct when they go unnoticed. My goal is to use nearly three decades of hands-on experience to give my clients a more knowledgeable, thorough, and informed inspection.
