Southeast Floor Inspections, based in metro Atlanta, serves clients across South Carolina, Alabama, and Tennessee, offering consulting and certified inspections for both commercial and residential flooring. Their expertise covers carpet, LVT, LVP, bamboo, hardwood, pre-finished engineered flooring, vinyl sheet goods, laminate, ceramic tile, glass tile, stone, and concrete moisture testing. They focus on stairway safety, walkway evaluations, and slip, trip, and fall prevention; provide ANSI-certified slip testing nationwide; and are certified by the National Deck & Railing Association to inspect decks, patios, and docks. Ed began his career as Operations Manager at Shaw Industries in North Georgia, then joined DuPont Flooring Systems in 1998 as Regional Operations Manager before becoming National Vice President of Maintenance Operations, overseeing more than 100 U.S. locations. After leaving DuPont, he founded three successful Atlanta-based commercial flooring companies—Game Day Floors for gym floor maintenance and installation, Tekclean USA for data center and clean room flooring construction and maintenance, and air quality monitoring, and FloorCare Specialists for commercial flooring maintenance and installation. Eventually, Ed shifted his focus from daily operations to floor inspections, consulting, and floor safety for commercial, residential, and gym flooring, and also offered concrete moisture testing (ASTM F1869, ASTM F2170, ASTM F2659) for large data center facilities, commercial/office spaces, and residential flooring installations.
