Southeast Floor Inspections, based in metro Atlanta, works with clients across South Carolina, Alabama, and Tennessee, providing consulting and certified inspections for both commercial and residential flooring. Their expertise includes carpet, LVT, LVP, bamboo, hardwood, pre-finished engineered flooring, vinyl sheet goods, laminate, ceramic tile, glass tile, stone, and concrete moisture testing. They specialize in stairway safety, walkway evaluations, and slip, trip, and fall prevention, offering ANSI-certified slip testing nationwide, and hold certification from the National Deck & Railing Association to inspect decks, patios, and docks. Ed began his career as Operations Manager at Shaw Industries in North Georgia, later joining Dupont Flooring Systems in 1998 as Regional Operations Manager before advancing to National Vice President of Maintenance Operations, overseeing more than 100 U.S. locations. After leaving DuPont, he launched three successful Atlanta-based commercial flooring companies—Game Day Floors for gym floor maintenance and installation, Tekclean USA for data center and clean room flooring, and FloorCare Specialists for commercial flooring maintenance and installation. Eventually, Ed shifted his focus from daily operations to inspections and floor safety for commercial, residential, and gym flooring, also offering moisture testing (ASTM F1869, ASTM F2170, ASTM F2659).​
