Based in the metro Atlanta area, Southeast Floor Inspections serves clients across South Carolina, Alabama, and Tennessee, offering consulting and certified inspections for both commercial and residential flooring. Their expertise covers Carpet, LVT, LVP, Bamboo, Hardwood, Pre-Finished Engineered Flooring, Vinyl Sheet Goods, Laminate, Ceramic Tile, Glass Tile, Stone, and concrete moisture testing. Specializing in stairway safety, walkway evaluation, and slip, trip, and fall prevention, they provide ANSI-certified slip testing nationwide and are certified by the National Deck & Railing Association to inspect decks, patios, and docks. Ed began his career as an Operations Manager at Shaw Industries in North Georgia, later joining Dupont Flooring Systems in 1998 as Regional Operations Manager, then being promoted to National Vice President of Maintenance Operations, overseeing 100+ U.S. locations. After leaving DuPont, he launched three successful Atlanta-based commercial flooring companies—Game Day Floors for gym floor maintenance and installation, Tekclean USA for data center and clean room flooring, and FloorCare Specialists for commercial flooring maintenance and installation. Ed eventually shifted focus from daily operations to inspections and floor safety for commercial, residential, and gym flooring.
