First flooring representative, in the US, certified in 2005 in Level 1 Thermography, in Building Science. Have used infrared cameras since 2005, to identify moisture conditions, quickly without damage to the interior of the building. This extra use of thermography has also pinpointed the infestation of termites within wood floors, again without any damage. Current cameras used are “medical grade” 640 x 512 pixels and can identify most any abnormalities. I am also certified, to scan horses and dogs, for soft tissue damage and infections, with this same camera.
