Ed started his carer with Shaw Industries as an Operations Manager in North Georgia. In 1998, Dupont Flooring System recruited him to be a Regional Operations Manager and he was eventually promoted to the National Vice President of Maintenance Operations opening and supporting over 100 locations across the U.S. After his career with DuPont, he started three successful commercial flooring companies in the Atlanta area two are regional and one is a national company. He decided to step away from the day-to-day operations of those companies to focus on a  new career in floor inspections and floor safety.
