Summary
Off-square ends in laminate flooring refer to plank short ends that are not cut at a true 90-degree angle to the plank length. When end cuts are not square, adjoining planks cannot align properly even when the locking system is fully engaged. The result may be visible corner offsets, uneven joint lines, or persistent end-joint gaps. Minor measurable deviation may fall within normal production tolerance depending on product design and joint profile.
