Summary
Moisture testing methods evaluate concrete slab conditions prior to flooring installation, but each method measures a specific moisture state under defined conditions. Test results represent conditions at the time and location of measurement and may not reflect future slab behavior or environmental changes. Different methods, including internal relative humidity, vapor emission, and surface measurements, are not directly comparable and do not quantify total moisture within the slab. Moisture testing provides useful evaluation data but does not predict future slab conditions or long-term flooring performance.
