Thompson Floor Covering, LLC   David Thompson started as an independent contractor in North Dakota since 1994.  Crew size varies depending on the scope of the project and helping others learn the trade.

With a background in many construction trades, TFC, LLC is pleased to have a reputation in providing solutions to challenges in structural repairs, subfloors, as well as rough and finish carpentry.  Specialties have included installation of flooring in commercial spaces with unique circumstances such as schools, department stores and hospitals while still in operation.  Custom installations have expanded beyond Luxury Vinyl Tile/Plank to include shower fabrication with borders, custom shapes/insets, offset angles and decorative/design input.  TFC is committed to installations according to manufacturer’s specifications of all products from carpet to hard surfaces, laminates, engineered woods, as well as porcelain/ceramic tile.

An introduction to the Flooring Industry began in 1991 with carpet cleaning in the Portland, Oregon metropolitan area.  This expanded to gaining experience with another company in carpet reinstallation and restoration: spot dyeing, full room dyeing, pet control issues, and customer service responsibilities. Thompson Floor Covering expanded its services in 2019 to officially include inspections with FCITS certifications.
