Metz Inspections provides floor inspections in Western and Central NY, from Buffalo to Ithaca, investigating floor ‘failures’ of both carpet and hard-surface products. Metz Inspections is contracted by manufacturers, builders, installers, and homeowners to identify the causation of issues such as gapping, cracking, cupping, delamination, fuzzing, loss of texture, and other complaints.
Metz entered the flooring industry in 2019, with a background that includes manufacturing support, business law, and education. She first obtained her inspection certifications from FCITS in 2022, and added the CFIU certification in summer 2024. She supplements her training by attending industry events in Dalton, GA and across the country, to stay abreast of new product innovations and developing trends. Originally from New York, she currently resides in Charlotte, NC, and her territories include North & South Carolina, New York, and Minnesota.
