I am a veteran in this industry, having spent my early years as an installer (16 years), then in estimating and project management (10 years), followed by 23 years as CEO of Floortrends, Inc., a well-respected San Francisco Commercial Flooring Contractor. 

In my semi-retirement, I became certified to conduct flooring inspections and consulting, and continue to work in the industry in this capacity.

During my career, I was also very involved in training, serving on a local Apprenticeship and Training Committee, and as a Management Trustee on the Board of Trustees for the International Finishing Trades Institute in Hanover, Maryland.

I care very deeply about this industry, and am always open to learning new things about products and processes.

I am also human and realize that, without knowing all the details, inspections can sometimes be inconclusive. 

I will do my best to collect as much data as possible without destructive testing, unless instructed and contracted to do otherwise.
