INSPECTION SERVICES
Evan Lauridsen is a certified and accomplished inspector with over 5 decades of actual flooring experience. He is well known and respected in the industry and recognized by a number of flooring manufacturers and institutions for his ability to inspect flooring concerns and issue detailed one-of-a-kind reports. His focus is on the 5 W’s of reporting including what, where, when, why and how it occurred. Evan does not rely on AI technology to write his reports for him nor issue “one paragraph” reports. Rather all reports are written for the specific jobsite using factual evidence obtained and applying industry standards, where available, to base his opinions and conclusions. Evan is an inspector’s inspector and has mentored many inspectors in his inspection career which started back in 1993 when he earned his first certification as a Senior Carpet Inspector with IICRC. He has since added to his certifications including NWFA, FCITS, IIFCI, ICRI, NALFA and others. A true CSI flooring forensics expert by heart, Evan does not believe in leaving any stone unturned. He spends the time out on the jobsite learning the specifics of the flooring and its concern. He believes that “a floor will always tell you the truth, but it takes a highly experienced expert to interpret what its saying”. Evan is one of those experts. Commissioning parties served include manufacturers, distributors, retailers, installers, builders, water damage restoration and insurance companies, attorney’s, end-users and homeowners who need an expert independent third-party opinion on a flooring claim. Evan is also well known to conduct second inspections on previously inspected flooring.
