Eric Gonzales – Flooring Specialist & Inspector

With over two decades of hands-on experience in the flooring industry, my journey began at just 14 years old working alongside my grandfather at Adams Hardwood Floors in Austin, Texas. From ages 18 to 30, I honed my skills as an installer at MG Floors—my family’s business owned by my mother and father—where I gained invaluable knowledge and built a strong foundation in both residential and commercial flooring applications.

After years of on-the-job experience, I branched out to successfully run my own flooring company, further expanding my expertise in installation, project management, and customer service. Most recently, I served as a Field Superintendent at Floor King in Austin, as well as other respected flooring companies in the region, managing large-scale projects and mentoring installation teams.

Now, I’ve discovered a true passion for flooring inspections. With my deep understanding of flooring materials, installation methods, and industry standards, inspections have become a natural next step in my career. I take pride in using my knowledge to support clients through their flooring challenges—whether it’s identifying installation issues, offering maintenance guidance, or delivering detailed inspection reports.
