I have been involved in flooring for 53 years. I started as a helper at age 17, then as an installer for commercial products. I was a CFI installer, class 3, one step away from the master. I injured my wrist and went into sales of flooring for Sunflooring, the largest distributor of flooring at the time, out of Orlando, as a hard surface rep. After they went out of business, I went to work for Cooper Dist. From there, I was certified by NWFA as an inspector in 2006. At the same time, I worked for Mastercraft Distributors, I was with them for 3 years. I ran 20 crews for Home Depot for 2 years, then Lowes for 3 years. I’ve done over 580 inspections since becoming an NWFA inspector in 2006. Iam now a certified inspector by CFIU.
