Hello, and thank you for your inquiry! I am an Ohio carpet and hard surface inspector certified to perform hardwood flooring inspections, carpet inspections, vinyl tile investigations, bamboo failures, laminate and cork flooring inspections. I began my journey in the flooring industry while still in high school as stock help at a local retailer in 1991. Shortly upon graduating, I apprenticed as an installer for a two year period before entering a successful career as an independent installer on my own working for many retailers, and consumers direct. During my time as an independent installer, I earned CFI certification in the trade. In 2006, the move was made as a full time Carpet and Hard Surface inspector after receiving certifications from FCITS, located in the heart of the flooring industry – Dalton Georgia. Today I continue on as a full time inspector, also offering flooring related repairs, corrections, pre-installation substrate analysis, and expert witness should the need for litigation arise. I have the experience from on the floor, and education in the classroom to get to the cause of the issue you are experiencing.
